COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M's Davis Diamond will play host for the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) Championship, the league announces Thursday. The championship series, along with the league's play-in game, will be held July 23-26.
"What an honor to be selected to host the AUSL Championship Series," Texas A&M head coach Trisha Ford said. "I want to thank our administration and everyone who put so much time and effort into this, along with AUSL and their organization, to bring high-level professional softball here to Davis Diamond. We are truly excited to open our doors this summer and give this community the opportunity to witness the best players in the game competing for a championship."
The play-in game between the second- and third-ranked teams will take place on Thursday, July 23, while the AUSL Championship best-of-three series will begin Saturday, July 25. Game 1 of the AUSL Championship will air nationally on ABC, marking the first professional softball game ever to be broadcast on network television. The other games will air on ESPN.
A 24-hour presale for AUSL season ticket holders will begin today at 10 a.m. at www.theausl.com, with tickets available to the general public beginning Friday, April 17 at 10 a.m.
The AUSL regular season begins June 9, with the Carolina Blaze, Chicago Bandits, Oklahoma City Spark, Portland Cascade, Texas Volts and the defending champion Utah Talons competing for this year's AUSL Championship. Tickets are on sale at www.theausl.com.

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING
Kim Ng – AUSL Commissioner
"We're thrilled to bring the AUSL Championship to College Station and Texas A&M. This is one of the top softball venues in the country, and College Station has established itself as a premier destination for major sporting events. The combination of elite facilities, a passionate fan base and a strong local partnership makes this an ideal setting for our championship weekend."
Tori Vidales '18 - Portland Cascade Infielder
"Texas A&M hosting the AUSL Championship Series this season is next level. The players get to experience Davis Diamond, one of the best stadiums in the country, and the fans will get a front-row seat to professional softball. Potentially leading the Cascade to a championship right where my story began would mean everything to me."
Amanda Scarborough '15 - ESPN Softball Analyst
"Bringing the AUSL Championship Series to Davis Diamond isn't just hosting an event, it places Texas A&M at the center of a rising professional league and the momentum of softball's rapid growth--where the best players in the world and the passion of a powerhouse university all collide in a way that elevates not just Texas A&M softball, but the entire sport."
Jami Lobpries '08 - General Manager, Portland Cascade
"Texas A&M shaped who I am, both on and off the softball field. To now have the opportunity as a General Manager in the AUSL to potentially bring a professional championship back to Aggieland is incredibly meaningful and a true full-circle moment. I'm excited to see Davis Diamond and our Aggie community take center stage—showcasing the game at its highest level and hosting an AUSL Championship for the world's best players."
