Softball Lands Four on All-SEC Teams

BIRMINGHAM – Texas A&M softball's Mya Perez and Kennedy Powell earned All-SEC First Team honors, while Micaela Wark and Sidne Peters were named to the All-SEC Second Team.
Perez became the second Aggie to earn All-SEC First Team honors in consecutive seasons and just the third player in program history to earn multiple first-team selections, joining Emiley Kennedy (2024, 2025) and Tori Vidales (2016, 2018). Perez boasts a nation-leading 56-game on-base streak.
The junior ranks second nationally and leads the SEC with a .614 on-base percentage. The Corona, California, native owns the league's second-best OPS at 1.538 and ranks fourth in the SEC with a .435 batting average. Perez set a program record with 31 walks in SEC play and finished the 24-game conference slate slashing .352/.611/.685 with five home runs, three doubles, 17 RBI and 14 runs scored.
Powell earned her first career All-SEC honor after leading the league with 36 hits and nine doubles in SEC play, setting Texas A&M program records in both categories. She ranks second in the SEC with 78 total hits, while her 58 runs scored are eighth-most this season. The senior recorded a hit in 20 of 24 SEC games, including 12 multi-hit performances, and finished conference play slashing .396/.423/.549 with 10 RBI and 24 runs scored.
Wark leads the Aggies with 19 home runs this season, including eight in SEC play. Her 28 RBI in conference action ranked second in the league, while she recorded eight multi-RBI games. The graduate transfer from Oklahoma State earned her first career All-SEC honor.
Peters earned her first All-SEC recognition after leading the SEC with four saves in conference play. She also ranked sixth with seven wins, ninth with 64 strikeouts and posted a 3.00 ERA across 60.2 innings pitched with a 1.19 WHIP. Her 14 total wins rank ninth in the conference.
