2017 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Reached in his first three career times at the plate getting hit by a couple pitches and two walks with the bases loaded ... reaching base at a .429 clip through 16 trips to the plate with three hit-by-pitches ...
2016 (FRESHMAN): Did not see action in his true freshman campaign... played with the Woodland Strykers of the Texas Collegiate League... appeared in 27 games, batting .341 (31-for-91) with 20 runs, seven doubles, four home runs and 12 RBI... selected to play in the TCL All-Star Game, going 0-for-2 with three walks, one run and one RBI.
AT STRAKE JESUIT HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Raul Garcia-Rameau at Strake Jesuit High School... earned All-District 19-5A First Team (utility player) as a junior and All-District 19-6A First Team (second baseman) as a senior... his junior and senior year where he helped lead his team to playoffs both those years... during his junior year he set the school record for most triples in a season with five and added 14 doubles and 29 RBI... batted .315 as a senior and .393 as a junior... outside of baseball he also played varsity basketball for two years and a point guard and shooting guard... played summer baseball for Columbia Angels.
PERSONAL: Dennis Coll Stanley was born on March 10, 1997 in Houston, Texas to Marti and Dennis Stanley... has one older sister Sarah... business administration major who hopes to one day own his own business... father played college basketball at Texas Wesleyan... enjoys fishing, hunting and playing Chinese Checkers.
