2023 SEASON (RS-SOPHOMORE): Did not see any action ... voted by teammates as the winner of the Marion Pugh Spirit Award, given to the players most exemplifying team unity and who provides valuable leadership both on and off the field.
2022 (SOPHOMORE - TEXAS): Did not see action ... took a redshirt.
2021 (FRESHMAN - BLINN): Made 10 starts and compiled a 4.76 ERA and 4-4 record in 39.2 innings pitched in 2021...struck out 52 batters, averaging 11.8 strikeouts per nine innings...made eight appearances and started six games...posted a 1-1 record...posted 27 strikeouts in 18.1innings...posted a 7.85 earned run average...named to the NJCAA All-Academic third team for posting a GPA between 3.60 and 3.79.
AT COLLEGE STATION HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year letterman for head coach Scott Holder at College Station High School... lead College Station to the state semifinals in 2016 and the second round of playoffs in 2017 and 2018.
PERSONAL: Son of Jason and Alicia Hutchins…has one sister, Halle…father, Jason, is the director of baseball operations at Texas A&M University…Jason pitched for the Aggies in 1991-92 and in the Colorado Rockies organization.
