AT WESTERN NEVADA COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons for Coach D.J. Whittemore... mashed to the tune of a .369 batting average, 20 doubles, 10 home runs, and 55 RBI as a sophomore to help squad to the Region 18 championship and NJCAA Division I Western District title... earned All-Scenic West Athletic Conference First Team in 2016... batted .309 with five doubles, two triples, four home runs and 18 RBI as a freshman to earn All-SWAC Second Team recognition... spent part of the summer of 2015 with the Medford Rogues of the West Coast League, hitting .288 with 10 RBI in 52 at-bats... also played for the Nevada Big Horns of the Golden State Collegiate Baseball League, hitting .333 (17-for-51) with six doubles, one triple, three home runs and 14 RBI in the summer 2015.
AT GALENA HIGH SCHOOL: Batted .507 with 13 home runs and 30 RBI to garner All-Nevada First Team recognition... also bagged Northern Nevada Division I Player of the Year and Reno Gazette Journal Player of the Year recognition in 2014... hit .569 with 12 doubles, three home runs and 26 RBI to earn All-Nevada Second Team accolade.
PERSONAL: Timothy Thomas Lichty was born on July 2, 1995 to Tim and Anne Lichty... father, Tim Lichty, was a three-year letterwinner at Fresno State and was drafted in the 11th round by the Houston Astros in 1986... has a younger brother, Tom, and younger sister, Alexa... majoring in university studies - leadership studies... enjoys hunting and outdoor sports.
