Brian Posey joined the Athletics Department in a full-time capacity in Fall of 2025 as an assistant equipment manager. He currently works with the baseball, soccer and tennis programs.
A 2024 graduate of Texas A&M, Posey spent the previous four seasons with the baseball program. His first three with the Aggies were as a student manager, where he handled inventory and equipment, setup and prepped the field for practices and games and many other duties as assigned. Most recently he spent one year as the program's equipment consultant serving many of the same roles.
Posey proudly served his country from 2015-18 as a U.S. Army Infantryman stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. He participated in combat missions and operations, led teams and units through effective coordination and communication, and made critical decisions under pressure while ensuring safety of his personnel. Posey earned a slew of awards from the U.S. Army, including the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Ribbon, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, NATO Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Ribbon and Expert Marksman Badge.
A native of Surprise, Arizona, Posey is married to the former Madison Adams.
