John Valek joined the Texas A&M Ventures staff in the Fall of 2022 as Senior Manager of Business Development.
John originally joined LEARFIELD in 2018, first as a Partnership Services Coordinator with UT Arlington Mavericks Sports Properties, and most recently as a Manager and Senior Manager of Business development with Houston Cougars Sports Properties. Prior to joining LEARFIELD, John played two years of professional baseball in the Colorado Rockies organization.
John Valek was a Four-Year Letterman with the University of Akron and LSU baseball programs, and graduated from Louisiana State University in 2017 with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Sports Management.
