Louis Duran joined the athletics department in March of 2019 as Associate Head Football Athletic Trainer. Duran's position assists in the prevention, care, acute management and rehabilitation of injuries on the football team.
After obtaining his bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Texas Christian University, Duran started his career as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Dallas Cowboys from 2012-14. He then worked as Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the University of Alabama football program from 2014-16 while obtaining his master's degree in Health Promotion.
Following his time in Tuscaloosa, Duran moved to the West Coast, where he served as Assistant Athletic Trainer for the University of Southern California football program from 2016-19.
