The homer marked the seventh of the year for the junior and 57th of his career, breaking the program's all-time record.
Following a walk by Terrence Kiel II, Sorrell launched a 52.3 degree two-run homer to the visitor bullpen in right to stretch the Texas A&M lead to 3-1.
Kentucky clawed back in the third to take a 4-3 lead behind a two-run homer to right center.
Wyatt Henseler answered for the Aggies in the bottom half with a 427-foot solo blast to left center. The long ball marked the 60th of the Emmaus, Pa., native's career and sixth as an Aggie.
The two teams traded two-run homers in the fourth as the Maroon & White remained in front 6-5 heading into the fifth. Royo was responsible for the two-run blast for the Aggies as the junior went 433 feet to straightaway center.
After the Wildcats posted a six-spot in the sixth to take an 11-6 advantage, Texas A&M responded with a Harrison grand slam in the seventh to pull within one, 11-10.
Kentucky immediately answered with a two-run homer and a solo shot to extend its advantage to 14-10. In the bottom half, the Maroon & White loaded the bases with two outs but were unable to cut into the deficit.
