Friday (ESPNU) and Sunday's (ESPN2) contests will air on the ESPN family of networks, while Saturday's middle game will be streamed on SECN+. Friday's series opener marks the 25th meeting all-time between the Aggies (14-14, 1-8) and Volunteers (27-2, 8-1). The two clubs met four times in the postseason a year ago, including in the College World Series Finals. The Maroon & White are 12-12 against Tennessee and 6-6 in Knoxville.
The Aggies will send the southpaw trio of Ryan Prager, Justin Lamkin and Myles Patton to the mound for the weekend. The trio has been strong this season, combining for a 3.64 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 127 strikeouts in 118.2 innings of work.
The Volunteers will counter with left-hander Liam Doyle on Friday and right-hander Marcus Phillips on Saturday. Sunday's starter has yet to be announced for Tennessee.
Bear Harrison and Ben Royo have paced the offensive attack of late for the Maroon & White. Harrison has slashed .500/.583/1.214 over the last 10 games to go along with five homers and 14 RBI. Royo has lifted three homers and driven in seven RBI, while batting .500 over the last five games.
