No. 10 Aggies Host Arkansas, Tennessee

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 10 Texas A&M men's tennis team welcomes Arkansas Friday and Tennessee Sunday at the Mitchell Tennis Center. Friday's contest is set for 6 p.m., while Sunday's match starts at 1 p.m.
The Aggies (13-7, 6-3 SEC) are coming off a split weekend at home. The Maroon & White dropped a 4-1 decision versus then-No. 5 Ohio State Wednesday, before upsetting No. 6 Mississippi State, 4-3. Reigning SEC Player of the Week Kholo Montsi clinched the match after topping No. 6 Petar Jovanovic, 3-6, 7-5, 6-3.
Arkansas (15-8, 3-6 SEC) is also coming off a split weekend, dropping to LSU, 1-6, before taking down Auburn, 6-1. Two of the three conference wins come from playing at home, while one was picked up on the road. The Maroon & White fell to the Razorbacks last season, 4-1, with Tiago Pires grabbing the only point of the day.
Tennessee (10-12, 1-8 SEC) dropped its most recent conference match versus Florida, 4-0. The Volunteers' one conference win comes after topping Alabama at home, 4-3. The two teams met earlier this season in the first day of ITA Kickoff Weekened, with the Aggies grabbing the win, 4-1. Texas A&M grabbed the doubles point, along with singles wins from Theo Papamalamis, Alex Frusina and Montsi.
