Softball Series Finale at No. 16 Georgia Canceled Due to Weather

ATHENS – Due to rainy weather, the No. 4 Texas A&M series finale at No. 16 Georgia has been canceled. The game will not be rescheduled.
Texas A&M (34-5, 8-3 SEC) claimed the series after sweeping the Bulldogs in a doubleheader on Saturday. The Aggies won the series opener in run-rule fashion, 8-0, in six innings and followed by winning game two of the doubleheader, 12-5, to clinch the series.
The Aggies return to Davis Diamond to host No. 7 LSU beginning April 11-13. Friday is slated for a 6 p.m. first pitch, Saturday at 2 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. The bookend games of the series can be streamed on SECN+, while Saturday's game Saturday is broadcast nationally on the SEC Network.
