
No. 18 Baseball Hosts No. 2 Texas for Rivalry Series

COLLEGE STATION – No. 18 Texas A&M baseball continues SEC play with a three-game set against No. 2 Texas in the Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown from Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The series begins Friday at 7 p.m., followed by Saturday's matchup at 2 p.m. The series finale is slated for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Game one of the series will broadcast on SEC Network while game two airs nationally on ESPN2. Sunday's finale streams on SEC Network+. Each game may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.
Friday's matchup marks the 381st meeting between the Aggies (25-6, 7-5) and the Longhorns (27-5, 9-3). The opener is the first meeting in College Station between the rivals as SEC foes.
Ol' Sarge's charges will send lefty Shane Sdao to the mound in the opener and righty Aiden Sims will get the nod on Saturday. Sims earned SEC Pitcher of the Week honors after a seven-inning shutout performance in the series finale against Vanderbilt.
In SEC play, the Maroon & White lead the conference in batting average (.292), runs (118), hits (118), doubles (26), home runs (27), RBI (109), slugging percentage (.562) and walks (95).
Gavin Grahovac is atop the SEC in conference play in runs scored (19) and RBI (19). Caden Sorrell's 52 RBI and 16 home runs on the season lead the conference and are tied for third and sixth in the national ranks, respectively.
The Aggies rank inside the top five nationally in on-base percentage (.456), slugging percentage (.592), home runs (68), runs scored (317) and walks (215). On the mound, the Aggies rank second in walks allowed per nine innings (2.90) and ninth in strikeout to walk ratio (3.19).

- FACE PAINTING: FREE face painting for all kids, found on the concourse across from the playground on the first base side.
- ANTHEM BUDDIES: Kids 12 and under are welcome to stand by a player during the National Anthem. Kids can meet at the stairs on the first base line 30 minutes prior to the first pitch. The Anthem Buddies opportunity is limited and subject to change.
- KIDS RUN THE BASES: Kids 12 and under are welcome to run the bases post-game. Kids can meet at the stairs on the first base line after the game to go down to the field.

- Texas A&M permit holders may park for free in Lots 100e, 100f, and 100g on a space available basis beginning 2.5 hours pregame. Click here for more info.

- General parking is available on gameday for $5 - cash AND card payments accepted.
- Accessible parking is available in Lot 102 for $5 or free for Texas A&M permit holders.
- Shuttle Buses will be available to ADA guest starting 2 hours before first pitch and 1 hour postgame. Pick up will be on Olsen Blvd in front of Lot 102 to the Plaza of Blue Bell Park.
