Was one of Aggies’ primary arms in his first year with the club...Posted a 3-4 record with two saves and a 5.50 ERA in 52.1 IP, punching out 72 hitters in that span...Held opposing hitters to a .262 average...Key piece to A&M’s run to the title game of the SEC Tournament, landing on the All-Tournament team...Set the tone for the week with a dazzling performance on the event’s opening day vs Tennessee (5/23), allowing just one hit in 8.0 shutout innings with seven strikeouts ... It marked the first one-hitter for the Aggies since 2019...Punched out two hitters to earn the save later in the tournament vs Arkansas (5/27), securing a victory that sent the Aggies to the title game...Also secured a save in his first appearance of the Stanford Regional to put the Aggies in the driver’s seat against the Cardinal (6/3)...Made first relief appearance of the year in regular-season finale at Mississippi State (5/20), retiring all four hitters he faced and striking out two...Earned first win as an Aggie with 5.0 shutout innings vs Rice (3/4) with seven strikeouts on the second day of the Shriners Hospitals for Children’s College Classic at Minute Maid Park...Followed that up by allowing just one run over 6.0 innings with a season-best 10 punchouts in a win over Northern Kentucky (3/11).
2022 (FRESHMAN AT PURDUE)
Selected to Big Ten All-Freshman Team...Pitched in 15 games as a rookie, including 12 starts...Posted a 4-4 record with a 5.44 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 51.1 innings...Logged 10.69 strikeouts per nine innings...Helped Purdue set team records for strikeouts and strikeouts per nine innings as he came up just two Ks shy of the Boilermakers’ freshman record...Started the season with a 2-0 record, 31 strikeouts and a 1.19 ERA over 22.2 innings in his first six appearances...Logged a win in his first career appearance, holding South Dakota State (2/19) to two hits while striking out five over 3.0 innings...Earned a victory against Dayton (3/15), yielding one run on two hits and two walks while striking out three in 5.0 innings...Picked up Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors (3/21) after allowing just one earned run over 9.1 innings in games against Dayton and Illinois State...Nailed down relief win against Valparaiso (4/26) with 1.2 scoreless innings...Posted a win against Northwestern (5/15), pitching 5.2 blank frames with three hits and four walks while striking out four.

Three-year letter winner for coach Dave Wilson at Staley High School on the north side of Kansas City...Two-way standout who earned Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 6 All-State First Team pitcher recognition as well as all-district and all-conference...Posted a 5-0 record with an 0.84 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 41.0 innings on the mound while batting .410 with 50 RBI as he played every game as a senior...Ranked among Missouri’s top five players in his class by Prep Baseball Report...Pitched for the varsity as a sophomore, helping the team place fourth at state...Helped Staley win conference titles in 2019 and 2021...Also played varsity basketball as a freshman...Played summer ball for the Royal Scout Team as an underclassman and the Arkansas Sticks as an upperclassman...Selected for the Rawlings National Team at the 2020 WWBA World Championships...Helped the Arkansas Sticks win the MLK South Tournament in January 2021...
