
Four Aggies Receive All-America Recognition from ABCA/Rawlings, Baseball America

COLLEGE STATION – Four members of the Texas A&M Baseball team garnered All-America honors between ABCA/Rawlings and Baseball America, the organizations announced Friday.
Outfielder Caden Sorrell and reliever Clayton Freshcorn were selected as First Team All-Americans by ABCA/Rawlings. Baseball America tabbed Sorrell to the second team, while first baseman Gavin Grahovac and second baseman Chris Hacopian collected third team honors.
Freshcorn emerged as one of the nation's premier closers, compiling a 2.82 ERA in 27 appearances. Over 54.1 innings pitched, he struck out 56 batters against just six walks and finished with a 1.05 WHIP. The right-hander recorded 12 saves, the highest total in the SEC and tied for the third-most in a single season in program history. Nine of his 12 saves required multiple innings of work, while his seven conference saves were tied for the league lead and led to his selection to the All-SEC First Team.
The Waller, Texas, product was voted the recipient of the C.E. "Pat" Olsen Outstanding Pitcher Award by his teammates and added NCBWA All-America recognition earlier this week.
Grahovac picked up his second All-America distinction of the season after posting a .339/.429/.722 slash line with 74 RBI and a team-high 76 runs scored. The junior clubbed 22 home runs, 16 doubles while also leading the Aggies with three triples. In 29 conference starts, Grahovac paced the SEC in slugging percentage (.754), home runs (13), RBI (43) and runs scored (40). His 1.172 OPS in league play ranked third in the conference. The Orange, California, standout recorded a team-best 26 multi-hit games and added 20 multi-RBI performances. His production during SEC competition garnered First Team All-SEC honors and a spot on the All-SEC Defensive Team.
Earlier this week, Grahovac was chosen by his teammates as the recipient of the Marion Pugh Most Valuable Player Award.
Hacopian made 42 starts between second base and designated hitter during his lone season in Aggieland. He turned in a .319/.405/.578 slash line with 41 RBI and 34 runs scored. The Potomac, Maryland, native smacked 10 doubles, 11 home runs and swiped three bags. Against SEC competition, Hacopian logged a .319 batting average, adding seven doubles, seven home runs and 25 RBI. He registered 15 multi-hit and nine multi-RBI performances during the 2026 campaign.
Sorrell cemented himself as one of the SEC's most dangerous hitters during the 2026 season. In 55 starts, he recorded a .341/.434/.743 slash line with 67 runs scored and led the team with 76 RBI. The junior outfielder made history by becoming the first Aggie since 1999 to record at least 20 doubles and 20 home runs in a season, finishing the year with a team-leading 20 two-baggers and 23 long balls. Sorrell paced the club with 21 multi-RBI games while adding 23 multi-hit performances. During SEC play, he hit .317 with 12 doubles, 10 home runs and 35 RBI. The Highland Village, Texas, native earned selections to the All-SEC First Team and All-SEC Defensive Team at the conclusion of league play.
Sorrell ranks sixth in program history with 46 career home runs and 10th with 151 RBI. The lefty slugger adds to his list of postseason accolades after being named the NCBWA District VII Player of the Year and receiving All-America recognition from the NCBWA and Perfect Game.
