No. 24 Baseball Hosts Midweek Matchup with Texas A&M-Corpus Christi

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The No. 24 Texas A&M baseball team welcomes Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park Tuesday with first pitch slated for 6 p.m.
The contest will be broadcast on SECN+ and may be heard locally on 1150AM/93.7FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats, or on X, @AggieBaseball.
The midweek matchup marks the 16th meeting all-time between the programs with the Aggies (3-0) holding a 15-0 record over the Islanders (4-0), including 13 wins at home and two on the road. Last season, the Maroon & White handled A&M-Corpus Christi at home in a decisive 17-7 run-rule victory.
The Aggies are led offensively by junior Caden Sorrell, who was named SEC Player of the Week after he registered nine hits, 10 RBI and three home runs across 15 at-bats over Opening Weekend. The Aggies' center fielder has started the 2026 campaign with a .600 batting average, .625 on-base percentage and a 1.200 slugging percentage.
Wesley Jordan logged a monster Opening Weekend of his own, batting a stellar 7-for-9 (.778) with two doubles, two home runs, four RBI and seven runs. The senior drew five walks in the series to boast an outstanding 2.534 OPS.
Nationally, the Maroon & White enter the week ranked by Baseball America (No. 22), D1Baseball (No. 24) and the NCBWA (No. 25), after securing the series sweep over Tennessee Tech on Opening Weekend.

- Shuttle Buses will be available to ADA guest starting 2 hours before first pitch and 1 hour postgame. Pick up will be on Olsen Blvd in front of Lot 102 to the Plaza of Blue Bell Park.
