BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – No. 22 Texas A&M earned its third series sweep of the season with a run-rule victory over Oakland, 12-1, Saturday afternoon from Olsen Field at Blue Bell.

The Aggies (14-1) totaled 14 hits and drew four walks in the win. Seven Aggies recorded a hit, including three-hit performances from Gavin Grahovac, Nico Partida and Caden Sorrell. Blake Binderup and Sorrell each logged three RBI and clubbed a home run. Partida led the lineup with three runs scored and drove a solo homer to left-center field in the second inning.

Aiden Sims (3-0) was effective as the starter, tossing 5.0 scoreless innings and striking out four batters. Josh Stewart worked 2.0 innings out of relief, allowing one run on four hits while striking out four Golden Grizzlies (1-14).

B4 | Boston Kellner and Partida each singled to begin the frame. Binderup singled through the right side to plate Kellner. Bear Harrison walked to load the bases. Two runs scored on a Farr ground ball to the third baseman that was overthrown and allowed each runner to advance two bases. Terrence Kiel II drove in a run with a single to left field and Sorrell plated another on a single to right field. Jake Duer reached on a fielder's choice that brought Kiel home. A&M 8, Oakland 0.

B5 | Partida singled and Binderup drilled a two-run homer. Harrison reached on an infield single and Sorrell tallied two more runs for the Maroon & White on a home run to right-center. A&M 12, Oakland 0.

GAME NOTES

Saturday's contest marked the third all-time meeting between the clubs. With the win, the Aggies lead the series 3-0.
5,105 fans filled Blue Bell Park for the early Saturday start.
Sorrell's home run was his 31st in the Maroon & White, moving him into sole possession of ninth-most in program history.
The Highland Village, Texas, native recorded his seventh multi-hit and multi-RBI performance of the season, both of which lead the team.
Kellner and Kiel have reached base safely in all 15 games.
Grahovac extended his hit streak to six games.
Sims logged the first scoreless start of his career.
Stewart matched a season high with four strikeouts.
The Aggies .938 winning percentage through the first 16 games is the second highest in that span since 2018.
Texas A&M has swept three consecutive weekend opponents for the first time since the opening three series of 2024.
