No. 20 Baseball Set to Host Vanderbilt for Three-Game Series

COLLEGE STATION – No. 20 Texas A&M continues SEC play with a three-game series against Vanderbilt at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The contest begins Thursday at 6 p.m., followed by Friday's game at 6 p.m., with the series finale slated for Saturday at 2 p.m.
Each game of the series will broadcast on SEC Network+ and may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.
Thursday's matchup marks the 30th meeting all-time between the two programs, with the Aggies (23-5, 5-4) leading the series, 16-13, over the Commodores (18-12, 5-4). In games at Blue Bell Park, the Maroon & White hold a 7-2 record over the Commodores.
Texas A&M will send the trio of Shane Sdao, Weston Moss and Aiden Sims to the mound this weekend. The three have combined for 113 strikeouts on the season, with Sdao leading the pack with 42.
The Aggies are coming off a midweek matchup against Sam Houston, where the offense put up 16 runs, including a 4-for-4 showing at the plate from Nico Partida. Gavin Grahovac belted his fifth home run across a three-game stretch, marking his seventh home run of the season.
In conference play, Grahovac leads the SEC in OPS (1.346), runs scored (15), RBI (18) and home runs (4), while ranking second in the league in slugging percentage (.813).
Offensively, the Aggies rank inside the top 10 national ranks in on-base percentage (.460), slugging percentage (.584), home runs (55), runs scored (281) and walks (185). On the mound, the Aggies lead the country in walks allowed per nine innings (2.61) and rank second in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.51).
