
No. 7 Baseball Returns Home for Midweek Matchup With UTSA

COLLEGE STATION – No. 7 Texas A&M baseball is back at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park for a midweek contest with UTSA, beginning at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
The game will broadcast on SEC Network+ and may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.
Tuesday's contest marks the 36th matchup all-time between the two programs, with the Aggies (30-7) leading the series 24-11 over the Roadrunners (27-13). In games at Blue Bell Park, the Maroon & White are 19-6.
Texas A&M is fresh off a series sweep at LSU, outscoring the Tigers, 22-8, at Alex Box Stadium. The sweep marked the first for the Aggies over LSU since joining the SEC. Offensively, the Maroon & White were led by Jorian Wilson who ended the weekend with five RBI on three hits, including two home runs in Friday's opener.
The Aggies limited the Tigers to just eight runs in the series, the lowest allowed by Texas A&M in a conference series this season. Aiden Sims logged his fourth quality start of the season, tossing 7.0 innings of two-run ball with six strikeouts. The win marked his seventh of the season and his fourth in conference play.
Ol' Sarge's charges rank inside the top five national ranks in on-base percentage (.444), slugging percentage (.581), home runs (80), scoring (9.7) and walks (249). On the mound, the Aggies rank third in walks allowed per nine innings (2.83 and rank ninth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.27).

- Shuttle Buses will be available to ADA guest starting 2 hours before first pitch and 1 hour postgame. Pick up will be on Olsen Blvd in front of Lot 102 to the Plaza of Blue Bell Park.
