BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – No. 24 Texas A&M claimed its second consecutive walk-off victory over Penn, 2-1, in 11 innings to secure the series Saturday afternoon from Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.

After trailing by a run since the third inning, the Maroon & White got a runner on base in the bottom of the ninth with a Terrence Kiel II walk. He advanced to second on a wild pitch, and on a full count with two outs, Sawyer Farr drilled a double near the right field line to plate the run and push the contest to extra innings.

In the bottom of the 11th inning, Kiel and Nico Partida reached base with consecutive singles. Travis Chestnut followed with a bunt single to load the bases with nobody out. The winning run scored on a walk from Farr to secure the win and the series for the Aggies.

Weston Moss worked a quality start, tossing 6.0 innings and allowing just one unearned run on five hits. The Spring, Texas, native matched his career high with eight punchouts. Juan Vargas was effective in relief, dealing 3.0 shutout innings with one strikeout. Clayton Freshcorn (1-0) earned the win after pitching clean 10th and 11th innings. The righty did not allow a baserunner and struck out two batters.

T3 | With one out, Jay Secretarski singled to right-center, followed by Qwynn Ahearn reaching on a fielding error. Gavin Collins plated one run on a single through the left side. A&M 0, Penn 1.

B9 | Kiel reached on a four-pitch walk to lead off the frame and advanced to second on a wild pitch. With two outs, Farr belted a double down the right field line to plate the run and even the score. A&M 1, Penn 1.

B11 | The Aggies began the inning with back-to-back singles from Kiel and Partida. The bases loaded when Chestnut reached on a bunt single. Farr plated the winning run with a walk on five pitches. A&M 2, Penn 1.

GAME NOTES

With the win, the Aggies take the lead in the all-time series against Penn, 3-2.
Blue Bell Park held 6,888 fans Saturday afternoon.
The Maroon & White are 6-0 to start the season for the fourth time in the last 10 years.
The last time the Aggies had two walk-off wins in a series was on April 10 and April 12, 2025, versus South Carolina.
Farr's game-tying double in the ninth inning was the first of his career.
Kiel and Boston Kellner have hit safely in all six contests to start the season.
Moss matched his career-high in strikeouts with eight.
Texas A&M pitchers have not issued a walk in the last 35.2 innings pitched.
