No. 7 Baseball Hosts No. 8 Auburn for Top 10 SEC Matchup

COLLEGE STATION – No. 7 Texas A&M baseball continues SEC play in search of its sixth consecutive SEC series win with a three-game set against No. 8 Auburn from Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The series begins Friday at 7 p.m., followed by Saturday's matchup at 2 p.m. The series finale is slated for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Game one of the series will broadcast on SEC Network, while games two and three will stream on SEC Network+. Each game may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.
Friday's matchup marks the 37th meeting between the Aggies (34-8, 14-6) and the Tigers (30-13, 12-9). In the all-time series, Texas A&M leads 21-15. The last time the two met came in the SEC Tournament in 2025, where the Maroon & White held on for a 3-2 victory.
The Aggies will send Shane Sdao to the mound in Friday's opener and Aiden Sims will get the start on Saturday. Sims' five wins in conference play are tied for second in the league.
In SEC play, the Aggies lead the conference in runs (175), home runs (43), RBI (163), slugging percentage (.537) and walks (130). Gavin Grahovac is riding a 13-game hitting streak in conference play and a 17-game hitting streak overall. In that 17-game span, the Orange, California, native owns a .403 batting average with 29 runs, 32 RBI and 12 home runs. Grahovac leads the conference in league SEC play in OPS (1.246), slugging percentage (.786), runs (31) and RBI (33).
The Aggies rank inside the top ten national ranks in on-base percentage (.434), slugging percentage (.577), home runs (90) and runs scored (393). On the mound, the Aggies rank second in walks allowed per nine innings (2.78) and rank seventh in strikeout to walk ratio (3.27).

• Kids Run the Bases: Kids 12 and under are welcome to run the bases post-game. Kids can meet at the stairs on the first base line after the game to go down to the field.
GAMEDAY PARKING:
With multiple Aggie events scheduled throughout the weekend, fans are encouraged to arrive early. Parking is $5 with a baseball game ticket. On Saturday, parking remains $5 with a baseball game ticket until 2:30 p.m., after which all Reed Arena lots will increase to $30 per vehicle due to the Savannah Bananas event.
